Python Job: Security Researcher

We are seeking a talented security researcher to be part of an organization that is pioneering a new groundbreaking technology in the security space. Obsidian also makes procurement easy for clients by offering a licensing program that is both modern and flexible to the customer’s needs.

Job responsibilities:

• Analyze and research ongoing threats and emerging risks in modern SaaS platforms
• Work as a subject matter expert in collaboration with engineering teams to build features to secure customers' SaaS environments.
• Conduct threat hunting operations in complicated SaaS environments and drive product innovation in threat detections
• Perform advanced security research in SaaS applications to identify security risks, and work with engineer teams to build product capabilities to proactively address those risks
• Drive positive product outcomes through cross-functional collaboration with other functional teams, across engineering, product, marketing etc.

Requirements:

• Passionate in cybersecurity
• Hands-on experience in coding and scripting with Python, SQL, elastic search, or similar tech stacks
• Experience in analyzing the security of systems in one or more domains (pen testing, Web Application security testing, vulnerability research, threat modeling, etc.)
• Experience in threat hunting and building detection signals or in red team exercise
• Experience leading analysis of large datasets for threat detection system
• Experience in SaaS security or cloud security
• Experience applying machine learning models in threat detection problem space

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $200,000.00 per year
